Location Applications in the Public Sector

This free one day seminar will look at the new and emerging applications of location based positioning that are being used in the Public Sector, or are being driven by the demands of Government.
The workshop will commence with an overview of the future of Location in the public services by BT and a view of the current status of vehicle location systems in the local authorities and utilities.
The event will then major on four topical themes:
- e-Health
- Emergency Services
- Lone Worker Protection
- Road Use Charging
With contributions from, Airetrak, Airwave Solutions Ltd, Connexion2, Cybit, DeMontfort University, Ezurio, MDA, Romtrac, Terrafix and TfL the day promises to enlighten the audience on the current and future status of LBS in the Public Sector.
