This £2.5M project, funded by Advantage West Midlands (AWM) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) provides a range of services and expertise for small and medium-sized enterprises in the development and application of advanced mobile and wireless technologies, as well as encouraging inward-investment and participation by major technology-based organisations.

WMMW can help you by:-

Just as importantly there are facilities to examine human and environmental factors that influence usability, privacy and safety and we will be providing opportunities for innovators and users of mobile and wireless technologies to network and collaborate.

WMMW will also run a series of training and awareness events to enhance the skills of local companies in these technologies.

The project is being led by Staffordshire University, with project partners Coventry University, UCE, University of Warwick and the University of Wolverhampton. WMMW is aiming to create a regional centre of excellence and ICT sub-cluster in this rapidly developing area of technology and systems.

There is no doubt that mobile and wireless technologies will play a key role in improving business performance and profitability, and WMMW provides an exciting opportunity for West Midlands companies to be at the forefront of the developments in this new generation of technology.

ICT ClusterWE are also part of the ICT Cluster within the West Midlands.  This enables both ourselves and Cluster partners to provide you with the best service possible.
